All Things Bright

March 1st

The whole month of January was
so warm that I wondered
if I could get outside and plant..
just a little something..
but dared not.

February brought wet snow
and cold, cold, cold and strong wind this last week.

























February 13th Tom was layed off after 16 years.
I haven't picked up my cross stitch since that day,
but I will, I'm missing it, and I'll finish the little
heart pillow and
show you how it turns out.
I have many projects lined up that I may be slow
in completing but I love sharing here and
love following other bloggers who have
brightened my life for so long.
I love all of you who blog and those of you who
just come by and visit. May your March be
filled with hope.

A Windy Day

Talked to Mom today about the snow up in Fortine



and the sunshine and wind here in Colorado











Our conversation among other familiar things
was about Dad and his love for oatmeal cookies:)
and how one batch or maybe two doesn't last
more than two days and that it's impossible to hide
some from him for another day.



Oh the power of suggestion!
Then I wanted oatmeal cookies too...
but my way with chocolate and butterscotch chips mmm.

Last night

Gentle January

Welcome to a new year. A special year full of promise.
A year to fall ever closer into the arms of Love. A year to
to spend more quality time with Him in the sanctuary of His
presence...where ever that is for you..maybe in a garden or
on a walk..maybe at home in the quiet of the morning or the 
sleepy warmth of the evening or when you close eyes and go
to that special place that you have always thought of..Love
will meet you there and refresh your heart when you need
Him.
Philippians 1:9 (The Message) So this is my prayer: that 
your love will flourish and that you will not only love much
but well...Live a lover's life..a life Jesus would be proud of:
bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ
attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory
and praise of God.
I wish you a sweet year of rest, well being, happiness and
peace in your heart.
